I'll submit a list, but I can say this much:
We on this board, for the most part, love bubblegum stuff. Stuff like "Beauty School Dropoutz", "Babydoll", "I Do I Do" and "Pogo A GoGo" are all great...the darker stuff like "The Real You" is not what we would want on the cd. I for one would love a cd full of bubblgum anthems about lollipops, hairspray, and lipstick...Nothing serious and dark, just young, colorful, and FUN!!!

I agree with Sandi there. I loved The Dropoutz for the candy coated bubblegum glampunk sound.
Songs i would pick to be redone would be:
1:Beauty School Dropoutz
2:What.(Is that the title? Can't remember offhand)
3:I'm In Love With A Vampire
4:Jerry Springer.(Maybe a full new version and a longer version at that? I frigging LOVED that song! I know it worked as just a little short tune, but i don't know... maybe throw a solo in there along with another verse because the song rocked so much? heh!)
Hope to hear some more new stuff soon!!

How bout just redo them all? LOL!
No, seriously, I haven't heard Strange Daze, so don't know on that, but I do think you should do "Trash Magazine". I'm sure Marky Glam will have a list for you, and I agree with what Sandi said. The bubblegummier the better. I evidently need to hear "I do I do","Babydoll", "Yesterday", and "Groupie Girl"
All these sound up my alley.

While on this topic, maybe I can figure out exactly what I have. I have these songs, titled
The Droputs '95 on tape:
Trash Magazine
What?
Jerry Springer
Fatal Attraction
Pogo A Go Go
I don't really wanna
Beauty School Dropouts
I'm in Love w/ a Vampire
I only wanna be w/ you
Row Your Boat
ABC Song
Is that The Dropoutz? Or is that Beauty School Dropouts? And who sang on it? Then, what other ones are there? Mikki mentioned a 3 tx demo that Punky sang on. What's on that? I thought this one was Punky, but I don't know. It also sounds like I need to hear the Strange Daze stuff (supposed to be poppier?), and Mikki, did Yellowbrick Roadkill ever have a demo?
I'm assuming so, since this was reported in the news of this very zine years ago:
Drew and Tori (both formerly of Spiral Fetish) have a new band - YellowBrick Roadkill - together with Mikki Twist (Ex. Dropoutz). All three used to spread glamour around NY as Sikk Sexx five years ago. The New material is more pop than previously.
Anything to clear it all up would be great.
Thanks.

Dan i too have that collection and i think that is Mikki Twist singing on there. I could be wrong though, but i'm sure it'z what i heard ages ago.
I also have the 3 song demo (Beauty School Dropout, Jerry Springer and that ABC song) and that was Punky singing on.

Thanks for the Response's people...... Okay The Tabloid Demo was Me singing on it .... Punky Just sang on the BSD 3 song demo ...and as far as Yellowbrick Roadkill that got way of hand .... i went down for one practice that was it ... i was gonna sing and play drums( Just a idea at the time) but decided that its not what i wanna do .... so it ended after that practice ... so there was never a YellowBrick RoadKill.... but on the new disc there will be a mixture of Pop and Heavier stuff in the vein of like the wildhearts or the Ex Idols ....then also my roots of growing up the 50's was always blasting in my house ..... we are also considering doing some 50-60s covers(have any Ideas for us?) so be patient im sure u will be happy with what we put out ....remember no matter how pretty u paint a trash can its will always be a trash can ... so u know the New Stuff will be Ear Candy.....! Thanks Guys Mikki

Hey Mikki... i love all that 50s and 60s too! How about doing a cover of Paul Anka's Diana? That song would work a fucking treat in the style of The Dropoutz!
